Frequently Asked Questions about E-Billing/One-Time Payments

Q: Where do I find the ‘AuthenticationToken’ needed to enroll in E-Billing or make a one-time payment?

 A: The Authentication Token is unique to each customer and can be found on the billing statement. The Authentication Token on the sample statement is not valid.

Q: Where can I view my current or past billing statements?

 A: These statements can be viewed online by registering on this web page. You’ll need the Authentication Token from your bill statement to register.

Q: How do I ‘Go Green’ and sign-up for paperless bills or establish Auto-Pay?

 A: Once you register on this web page you will automatically be enrolled in E-Billing. You’ll get an e-mail when your next water bill has been issued. Go to ‘Account Summary’ to set-up automatic payment of your Connecticut Water water bill from a checking account or credit card (MasterCard or Visa).

Enrolling in Ebilling costs nothing and it’s beneficial to both the environment and the communities that we serve.

We use an emergency telephone notification system, to alert customers when there is an important issue affecting water quality or water service. If we do not have a current phone number we will not be able to call you. Connecticut Water has interest-free COVID-19 extended payment plans for up to 24 months with no down payment for any customer who may need it. These plans are in accordance with the CT Public Utilities Regulatory Authority requirements. Additionally, through our H2O Help 2 Our Customers Assistance Program or through our partnership with Operation Fuel financial assistance plans are offered for income qualifying customers.
